Look Up

While sitting in any public space and observing, you will see the majority looking down instead of at the world around them.

They will engage with anything other than the moment. They barely exist.

We crave the attention we won’t give to those around us, and we seek validation from those we wouldn’t talk to anyway because we’re looking down.

Content has become life, and we live make-believe on our screens, chasing an imaginary currency of clout while mindlessly scrolling away our free time.

Everything is considered collateral in the pursuit of follows and likes.

Put your phone down and look up at the world around you. Create something with your hands, read a book, spend time with family and friends, help someone—and don’t fuckin’ film it to show off your kindness.

That’s gross.
